About me

My name is Christina.

I offer counselling as a space where you can slow down, reflect, and reconnect with yourself in a way that feels steady and genuine.

My work is grounded in humanistic psychology, particularly the person centred approach developed by Carl Rogers. I believe people are more able to grow, gain clarity, and find their own direction when they are met with empathy, genuineness, and acceptance.

I also work with an inner parts approach, which recognizes that we may experience different emotions, perspectives or inner conflicts within ourselves. Exploring these parts with curiosity and compassion can help create a deeper sense of understanding and connection.

I see each person as a whole, where mind, body, and emotions are closely connected. My approach is grounded, empathic, and non-judgmental, with space to explore what matters to you at your own pace.

I am a psychosocial counsellor in training at Apamed in Jona, Switzerland. I am also training in PBSP (Pesso Boyden System Psychomotor), a body-oriented approach that works with the connection between body, emotions, and early relational experiences. Alongside my formal trainings, I continue learning about the connection between body, emotions, and inner experience, and the different ways people can relate to themselves with more understanding and compassion.

What is psychosocial counselling

Psychosocial counselling offers support during difficult, uncertain, or transitional periods in life. It can provide space to explore thoughts, emotions, relationships, inner conflicts, or questions around direction and meaning.

Rather than focusing on illness or diagnosis, psychosocial counselling supports personal reflection, greater self-understanding, and new perspectives. The focus is not on “fixing” you, but on supporting you in relating to yourself and your experiences with more awareness, understanding, and compassion.

My work is informed by the ethical guidelines and professional standards of the SGfB (Swiss Association for Counselling).
